Introducing ๐Ÿ‡ DMCA Bunny!

Hi there! Iโ€™m Charles โ€” one of the minds behind DMCA Bunny. My background is in U.S. Army Cyber Intelligence, and for over a decade Iโ€™ve worked to help survivors of non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) reclaim their privacy and dignity by getting harmful content taken down.

Through this work, my business partner Bunny and I became deeply familiar with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and its many international equivalents. What we discovered was that the takedown process is incredibly time-consuming โ€” a tangle of forms, links, and manual data entry that can stretch on for hours or even days.

From Kitchen Table to Cloud

In the early days, it was literally just us at our kitchen table, copying and pasting URLs into spreadsheets, one by one. Some of the people we helped had thousands of infringing links to report โ€” and doing it all manually was exhausting.

Thatโ€™s how DMCA Bunny was born. It started as a collection of small, scrappy tools we built to make our own workflow faster and more efficient. Over time, it evolved into a full-fledged platform for:

  • Collecting and curating infringing content
  • Preserving evidence for legal or reporting purposes
  • Sending takedown notices
  • Deindexing content from Google and other search engines

Copyright Isnโ€™t Glamorous โ€” But Itโ€™s Important

Letโ€™s be honest: copyright law is… Boring. But it matters deeply โ€” especially for smaller creators. Piracy affects you the most. Piracy and content theft can have devastating effects on artists, educators, and businesses alike. Our goal with DMCA Bunny is to turn hours of tedious work into minutes โ€” giving creators back the time and peace of mind they deserve. Nobody became an artist to chase down content pirates.

Hopping to Your Defense

DMCA Bunny exists to make digital rights enforcement faster, simpler, and a little less painful. Whether youโ€™re an individual creator, a brand, or a professional rights manager, weโ€™re here to help you protect your work.

If you have questions, feedback, or ideas, weโ€™d love to hear from you. After all, weโ€™re building this tool for you โ€” one takedown at a time.
